Hulkenberg ‘still figuring out' 2021 plans
Linked to Alex Albon's Red Bull seat, Nico Hulkenberg says he still has no answers about his 2021 racing plans. The German was sidelined at the end of last season, dropped by Renault in favour of Frenchman Esteban Ocon. Left out of the sport, Hulkenberg was called up to substitute for Racing Point when Sergio Perez tested positive for Covid-19 with the team again calling him up when Lance Stroll fell ill. Hulkenberg, who qualifed P3 for the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, scored in both races he started, the most recent – Russia – racing from 20th on the grid to eighth at the chequered flag.
