Rear brake failure caused Sainz’s F1 Bahrain GP qualifying spin

McLaren has confirmed that Carlos Sainz suffered a rear brake failure which caused his spin and stoppage during qualifying for Formula 1’s Bahrain Grand Prix. Check out the Crash F1 YouTube channel - CLICK HERE Sainz spun at the end of the main straight during his first flying lap of Q2 in Sakhir when his rear wheels suddenly locked as he hit the brakes for Turn 1. The Spaniard’s car stopped at the edge of the track and he was unable to get going again, resulting in qualifying being disrupted by a red flag period.
