Hamilton and Schumacher both receive award during the FIA gala
At the FIA award ceremony, at which all the champions of that year receive their trophies, there was also a special prize on behalf of the President, Jean Todt. Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher both received this recognition, with Michael Schumacher's wife, Corinna Schumacher, attending the award ceremony to receive the prize. Michael Schumacher's wife does not often come out in public, let alone on television. However, this opportunity was a good reason for the Schumacher family to speak to the media.
