Aston Martin reveals launch date for 2021 F1 car
Aston Martin has confirmed that it will launch its 2021 Formula 1 car on March 3, via an online virtual event. The British team has been re-branded from Racing Point for this upcoming year, and has secured the driving services of four-time F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel, who will partner Lance Stroll. The team ended the 2020 season fourth in the Constructors’ Championship under the Racing Point name, taking its maiden race victory at the Sakhir Grand Prix with Sergio Perez. Aston Martin announced a title sponsorship deal with technology company Cognizant last month, bringing an end to the Silverstone-based team's deal with BWT, which began in 2017.
