Verstappen: We can be happy to be that close

If anyone could have denied Mercedes Lewis Hamilton claiming his incredible 100th pole position today, it might have been Max Verstappen, in the end, the Red Bull fell short but the Dutch driver was happy with the result. Qualifying for the 2021 Spanish Grand Prix, was strange in that the track appeared to get slower as qualy progressed and, in Q3, most of the first runs were the best, with Hamilton's effort of 1:16.741 enough for the top spot start tomorrow; Verstappen was a mere 0.036s shy which sets the stage for another epic race.
