FP2 Report: Verstappen and Mercedes separated by less than one-tenth

Max Verstappen has topped the second practice session ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix but caused the final red flag with a crash. Just over an hour after Red Bull Racing confirmed Sergio Perez will remain as his teammate for the 2022 season, the Dutchman beat Mercedes by less than one-tenth of a second. Valtteri Bottas came second, just 0.041 seconds behind, with Lewis Hamilton rounding out the top three.  The session saw two red flags. Charles Leclerc crashed into the wall with around 15 minutes left of the session. The Ferrari driver didn't impress throughout, and could only record the 18th fastest time.
