Horner hopeful: 'Jeddah tighter than the data suggested'
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner says he's optimistic for this weekend's Saudi Arabian GP, after data from Friday's two practice sessions suggested that rivals Mercedes didn't have such as big an advantage as expected. "The circuit is a little bit tighter than the data suggested," he told Sky Sports F1 after the end of the evening session. "The corners are a little bit tighter so it's not all the emphasis on horsepower that we thought it was going to be." The brand new Jeddah Corniche Circuit street circuit is one of the fastest on this year's Formula 1 calendar behind Monza, while also being a street circuit with narrow straights and short run-offs.
