'New contract almost signed, Sainz to remain at Ferrari until 2024'
In all the commotion surrounding the decision in the title race, it was almost forgotten that Carlos Sainz drove a great race in Abu Dhabi. The Ferrari driver sealed this with a fine third place. Sainz ended the season in fifth place in the final standings, two places above his celebrated teammate Charles Leclerc. Good performance Next season Sainz is also under contract with Ferrari, after that he could be a free man.
