Imola Sprint Race: A revised format with new F1 cars

The first Sprint Race of the 2022 Formula 1 season is upon us at Imola, which should be interesting to watch, with its revised format and the new ground-effect cars. So how will the teams approach it? The Sprint Races this year will have more weight in the Championship fight as – in addition to deciding the starting grid of Sunday's races – points will be awarded to the top eight finishers with the maximum haul of eight points pocketed by the winner. The first of the three Sprints Races this season at Imola will offer more intrigue since it will be the first race with the new generation of F1 cars, while the rain that hit Friday's proceedings around the Autodromo Internazionale...
