Schumacher becomes Mercedes reserve driver

Mick Schumacher will become a Mercedes reserve driver for the 2023 Formula 1 season, the team announced on Thursday. The Mercedes announcement came after Ferrari issued a statement confirming they have cut their ties with the former Haas F1 driver. This decision confirms what Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has repeatedly expressed in terms of bring Schumacher into the team in a reserve role.
