F1: Norris on pole for Miami Sprint
Ahead of the Shootout the air temperature is 31 degrees C, while the track temperature is 53 degrees. Leclerc set the pace in practice, edging out Verstappen, Piastri and Hamilton. Over the course of the hour both Mercedes drivers suffered engine issues, with Antonelli failing to run on the softs. As expected, the teams have brought a raft of upgrades, particularly Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren, and they appear to be paying off. Track limits were a major issue earlier, with drivers caught out at various corners, with many also experiencing lock-ups.
