Caterham permitted to use 2014 car next year

Caterham F1 Team Caterham will be allowed to re-use their 2014 machine, should the administrators find a buyer willing to keep the team in the sport. Caterham's administrator, Finbarr O'Connell, says that at a meeting of the Formula 1 Commission it was agreed that the squad can compete in 2015 with their CT05 - a move which needs final ratification at this week's World Motor Sport Council meeting in Qatar. "It was proposed as something to help Caterham and Marussia but will be available to any team if they want to apply to the FIA," O'Connell told Reuters.
