Sainz Jr very well prepared for F1 Ricciardo

Daniel Ricciardo believes new Toro Rosso driver Carlos Sainz Jr is “very well prepared” for the step up to F1 after winning the Formula Renault 3.5 title. Sainz Jr will drive alongside Max Verstappen in 2015, effectively replacing Daniil Kvyat who has been promoted to Ricciardo's team-mate at Red Bull. Having himself come through from FR3.5 in to Toro Rosso, Ricciardo said he has no doubts over Sainz Jr's talents and expects him to adapt well to the pressures of Formula One. “I think he's very well prepared to move up,” Ricciardo said. “He's impressed with the driving side of things and has the talent, so he won't run into any difficulties behind the wheel.
