Caterham given dispensation to use 2014 car next season

Caterham has been given dispensation to use this year's car next season, should a buyer be found for the team. The F1 Commission and the FIA reached an agreement last week, but the decision needs to be ratified by the Word Motor Sport Council at the next meeting, which takes place later this week in Doha, Qatar. The Leafield-based outfit entered administration in October, before launching a crowdfunding project to make the final round of the 2014 season in Abu Dhabi. It proved to be successful, with the team returning to the grid at the Yas Marina Circuit.
