Heading into the 2014 F1 season, Ferrari's mission was clear: get back to the very front of the field. Heck, it's been the prancing horse's goal since its last championship win in 2008. However, in the year of the works team, many were anticipating a straight fight between Ferrari and Mercedes for the championship. Building your own engine was set to provide a huge advantage, and for a brand that has always put the focus on power, a new dawn appeared to be on the horizon for the Italian marque.
