Rosberg 'hopeful' of a deal to rescue German GP

Nico Rosberg has expressed his disappointment at the current situation regarding the German Grand Prix and its potential cancellation this season. The event was scheduled to take place at the Nurburgring - which rotates on an annual basis with Hockenheim - but a recent sale of the circuit has cast doubt over whether the new owners can afford to host Formula 1. That led to Bernie Ecclestone announcing that Hockenheim would host the 2015 race, but no deal has yet been agreed with either party leading to the 84-year-old giving the race a 50/50 chance of happening.
