Bottas hurts back in qualifying

Valtteri Bottas ended qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix limping after hurting his back during the session. The 25-year-old Finn, who qualified in sixth place, three places behind his Williams teammate Felipe Massa, was seen limping after getting out of his car. Bottas skipped the post-qualifying television interviews. "Valtteri was suffering with his back and lost a lot of time at the last corner," Williams engineer Rob Smedley said. "I don't know what's happened, whether he's jarred his back or something."
