China Racing confirm dual motor technology for next season

The China Racing Formula E team have confirmed their powertrain partnership with NextEV and revealed that their race car will feature dual motor & inverter technology. As part of the introductory first season of the sport, each team is supplied with the same McLaren motor and inverter technology to use in their car. From season two, however, powertrains will allowed to be developed as part of the plan to gradually permit various parts of the car to be developed. Eight manufacturers were chosen to supply the powertrain systems.
