Mick Schumacher Awarded ‘Best Rookie' Trophy on F4 debut

The Schumacher name is back in racing, although not yet F1, as Michael Schumacher's son Mick won the best rookie trophy on Saturday in the opening race of the ADAC Formula Four championship. The 16 year old son of the seven times F1 Champion finished ninth out of 35 drivers, having qualified nineteenth in his first car racing event. He has previously raced karts under his Mother's maiden name of Betsch. Mick told media, ‘After yesterday's qualifying and my grid position, I'm really satisfied.' His team mate is another son of a famous F1 name  and finished seventh on the grid. Hamilton Newey, son of Red Bull's Adrian Newey is in his second season in a car racing formula. The...
