Barcelona FP1: Rosberg fastest as Mercedes still on top
Three weeks since the last grand prix and little has changed at the top of the Formula 1 pecking order as Mercedes once again set the pace in the first free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix weekend with Ferrari stalking them and the rest chasing. Nico Rosberg was 0.070 of a second up on his championship leading teammate Lewis Hamilton, with the German's best time 1:26.828 good enough for top spot on the timing screens. The Silver arrows pair the only two breaking into the 106 seconds zone at Circuit de Catalunya. The Ferrari duo were up next with Sebastian Vettel fractionally quicker than Kimi Raikkonen, in third and fourth respectively. Toro Rosso showed some handy early pace...
