Sainz could yet lose P9

Carlos Sainz's Spanish P9 is under investigation for 'leaving the track' in his battle with Daniil Kvyat. On the final lap of the Barcelona race, the Toro Rosso attacked the Red Bull racer for ninth. Not willing to give an inch, the duo banged wheels under braking for Turn 1. The end result was Sainz left the track but still pulled ahead of Kvyat. He held on to finish P9 to the Russian driver's P10 but his position is now being investigated. The stewards revealed that they were looking into the incident for 'leaving the track and gaining an advantage.'
