Grosjean pleased with points after 'tough race'
Lotus F1 Team Romain Grosjean says he was pleased to collect some championship points as he endured a tough race at the Spanish Grand Prix. Grosjean experienced high tyre wear and clipped his mechanics when he made a pit stop, while his day was exacerbated by the absence of fourth gear in his Lotus. "It was a tough and eventful race," he said. "Firstly, I’m glad to say that no-one was seriously injured in the pit stop. "The rear tyres were experiencing a lot of degradation and I just couldn’t stop in time. It was a really scary moment for me, but probably more scary for the crew.
