Hamilton goes fastest as rain stops play – FP2 Report

Lewis Hamilton has completed a Thursday clean sweep in Monaco by going fastest in FP2. The Mercedes driver was 0.7 seconds clear of Nico Rosberg with third going to Sebastian Vettel. However, none of the times were particularly representative, as a red flag and an extended rain shower curtailed any serious track action. FP2 got underway at 2pm local time with track temperatures barely higher than this morning. 21 degrees and an air temp of just 14 is uncharacteristically cool for Monaco in May, but that didn't stop Nico Rosberg & Will Stevens from heading straight out onto the track to get the session started.
