Italian GP could continue past 2016
With its future hanging in the balance, Bernie Ecclestone is considering a proposal that could see the Italian Grand Prix continuing when its hosting rights end after 2016. Currently held at Monza, negotiations for a contract extension have recently broken down as the famed circuit struggles to raise the cash wanted by Ecclestone and Formula One Management. Ecclestone has suggested that a solution might yet be found. 'Imola is proposing to alternate with Monza,” he told Gazetta Dello Sport.
