Ricciardo: Great result considering start position

Daniel Ricciardo says eighth place in the Italian Grand Prix was a 'great result', considering his starting position and the characteristics of the Monza circuit. Engine change penalties meant the Australian lined up 19th on the grid, but he made good progress early on, despite running the slower tyre, and switched to the soft compound for the final stint. He put the fresh, quicker tyres to good use and managed to snatch away eighth place from Marcus Ericsson on the final lap.
