WMSC confirms 21-race 2016 calendar
– Formula 1's governing body, the FIA, has confirmed a 21-race roster for the 2016 season, following the latest meeting of the World Motor Sport Council, with the United States Grand Prix under threat.The event, due to be staged at the Circuit of the Americas next October, has been listed on an updated calendar as "subject to agreement with the promoter and the ASN".Doubts over its future have been cast after state funding was cut, with the situation exacerbated after wet weather plagued the weekend in 2015, leading to a loss in revenue.The only other change is that the Mexican Grand Prix has been moved forward by a week.Revised F1 2016 calendar:March 20 - AustraliaApril 3...
