Hamilton crowned 2015 champion at FIA prize giving gala

Lewis Hamilton was formally crowned 2015 Formula 1 champion when he picked up his title trophy at the FIA prize giving gala in Paris on Friday night. The British driver claimed 10 race victories this season and 11 pole positions, securing his third drivers' championship with three rounds still to go. 'It’s pretty much impossible to put into words what it means to be a three-time world champion,' said Hamilton after collecting his trophy.
