Renault pins 2015 woes on 'three areas'
– Renault endured a troubled 2015 season by making mistakes in three key areas, according to the French manufacturer's Director of Operations, Rémi Taffin.After taking three victories in 2014, the only non-Mercedes wins of the year, Renault failed to deliver the anticipated reliability and performance gains for 2015.Taffin, reflecting on the campaign, reckons faulty pistons, a problematic part in the power unit electronics and late decision-making were all major factors in Renault's struggle."We arrived at the first winter test believing that we had made a big step forward between seasons," explained Taffin, in an interview for the official Renault website."We...
