F1 in-season testing hosts confirmed for 2016
Formula 1 in-season testing in 2016 is set to take place in Spain and Great Britain, with Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya and Northampton's Silverstone both set to host two-day tests. It will follow the Spanish Grand Prix and the British Grand Prix on the Tuesday and Wednesday, and according to the 2016 F1 sporting regulations, in-season tests must take place at circuits where a Grand Prix has just been held and start no less than 36 hours later. The regulations allow two team tests of no more than two consecutive days duration, while each team must allocate at least two of the four days for young driver testing.
