Vasseur appointed Renault Racing Director
– Renault has announced that it has signed ART Grand Prix boss Frédéric Vasseur as its new Racing Director ahead of its comeback as a full works Formula 1 team in 2016.Vasseur has spent the past two decades overseeing his own squad in junior formula, firstly under the ASM moniker before collaborating with Nicholas Todt to form ART.Vassuer has helped guide the career of several youngsters, with Lewis Hamilton, Romain Grosjean, Nico Hülkenberg, Esteban Gutiérrez and Valtteri Bottas all collecting titles at ASM/ART.Under Vasseur's stewardship, ART Grand Prix won both the Drivers' and Teams' titles in GP2 and GP3 respectively, the first time such a feat has been achieved.Renault has...
