Renault realistic over 2016 prospects
Renault Sport Renault Managing Director Cyril Abiteboul says the manufacturer has 'realistic' expectations as it prepares to return to Formula 1 as a full works team in 2016. Renault has taken over the Lotus squad which finished sixth in 2015 and has recruited Kevin Magnussen to partner Jolyon Palmer, with Frederic Vasseur installed as Racing Director. Abiteboul is aware that the upcoming campaign is likely to be a rebuilding year, following Renault's comparatively late decision to commit to a Formula 1 comeback.
