Preview: F1 gears up for 2016 testing

Red Bull Racing Formula 1 returns to action at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with only eight days of running before the sport heads to Australia for the first round of the 2016 campaign. The traditional Spanish test venue once again plays host to all 11 Formula 1 teams as they look to understand as much of their 2016 machines as possible before the season begins in earnest in just one month. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is perceived to be the best testing venue available; data from previous years allows teams to correlate data, the drivers know every inch of the track, and it remains comparatively cost effective.
