VW rules out F1 entry due to instability

– Volkswagen motorsport boss Wolfgang Dürheimer says the lack of stability in Formula 1, both in terms of regulations and at boardroom level, is why the manufacturer won't enter the sport.VW Group has been repeatedly linked to the sport, and has a strong presence in the World Endurance Championship with Audi and Porsche, as well as having secured the last three World Rally titles.However, Dürheimer does not believe that joining Mercedes, Ferrari, Renault and Honda as manufacturers in Formula 1 would be beneficial to Volkswagen."Formula 1 is not on our agenda right now," Dürheimer told Autocar."The situation is not predictable enough to make the kind of investment...
