Montmelò Test – Kimi on track with the Ultrasofts

Raikkonen tries the new Pirelli compound. Montmelò – Kimi Raikkonen took to the track on schedule and completed 58 laps this morning at the Catalunya circuit, on this the final day of the first FIA-sanctioned winter test. The Finn has spent most of the day so far on set-up work and, on his penultimate run he tried the new Ultrasoft compound introduced by Pirelli as part of its 2016 range. Kimi Raikkonen: "It was a normal test with different kind of tyres, but it is always different from what you see at the races. We have a new car here and there is always something to try, to test.
