Kevin Magnussen says he was nervous prior to Spanish test

Returning F1 driver Kevin Magnussen has admitted that he felt quite nervous before jumping into his new Renault F1 car before Spanish testing. Magnussen was signed up as a replacement for the ousted Pastor Maldonado last month; the Danish driver himself having been dropped from the McLaren team over the course of 2015 after a year on the sidelines as a reserve driver. As a result, Magnussen's drive in the new RS.16 F1 car with Renault on Wednesday was his first time driving a contemporary machine since his disastrous Australian weekend with McLaren as a stand-in for Fernando Alonso at the beginning of last year – a race Magnussen retired from on the parade lap with a power unit...
