Kimi Raikkonen ends penultimate test day with fastest lap so far
Kimi Raikkonen finished the penultimate test day quickest for Ferrari and in the process posted the quickest lap seen during testing so far. The Finn posted his best lap, a 1:22.765, on the new Ultra-Soft tyre during the morning session, but prior to that he surprised the paddock by running the new Halo concept for a single lap to test its visibility. Felipe Massa finished second quickest, albeit half a second down on Raikkonen's best using the slower soft tyre. Nico Hulkenberg and Max Verstappen also lapped on the Ultra-Soft tyre, finishing third and fourth respectively. The latter completing 159 laps in the process.
