Vettel: 'Halo' look irrelevant if it saves lives

– Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel says it "doesn't matter" if the proposed 'halo' head protection device looks ugly, providing it saves lives in the future, after trialling a prototype for the first time.Vettel ran the 'halo' device, which wraps around the cockpit with three struts, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Friday morning, after team-mate Kimi Räikkönen debuted it the day before.Vettel reckons such a concept would have saved the lives of Henry Surtees, who was struck by a wheel during a Formula 2 race in 2009, and Justin Wilson, who hit debris in an IndyCar race last year."I think, first of all, to go around it's OK, you can see what you need to see,"...
