Marcus Ericsson: “The race was fun with a lot of fights”

Marcus Ericsson finished as the lead Sauber F1 Team driver during the Bahrain Grand Prix as the Swede claimed twelfth place at the chequered flag. Ericsson felt the race under the lights at the Sakhir International Circuit was fun due to the number of battles he had during the 57-lap race, but bemoaned the fuel saving he had to do in the final stages that lost him the chance of a top ten finish and points. “The race was fun with a lot of fights,” said Ericsson. “The start was a bit unfortunate.
