Pirelli confirms Russian GP tyre choices

Pirelli Media Pirelli has confirmed the tyre choices which teams have made for the Russian Grand Prix, with the leading three squads all taking different approaches. As with the opening three events of the season, Pirelli will bring the Medium, Soft and Super Soft tyres to the Sochi Autodrom next weekend. Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull have all opted for one set of the Medium tyres, but Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will have eight sets of Super Softs available, with four batches of the Soft compound. Ferrari has split its remaining 12 sets of tyres evenly, with both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen having six sets of the Soft and Super Soft tyres in their respective allocations. Red...
