Hamilton reprimanded for Q1 infringement

Lewis Hamilton has been reprimanded for his infringement when rejoining the track during qualifying for the Russian Grand Prix. With a number of drivers running wide at Turn 2 throughout the weekend, a bollard is in place on the outside of the corner which drivers are supposed to stay to the left of before rejoining the track before Turn 3. In Q1, Hamilton ran slightly wide and negotiated the exit kerb before rejoining immediately. The incident led to Hamilton being under investigation by the stewards, but over three hours after the end of qualifying it was confirmed he would only receive a reprimand and no grid penalty.
