Maldonado’s sneaky return …
Maldonado may be making a sly return to the world of Formula 1 , but not in a way you would expect. Maldonado is one of two drivers (and Giedo Van Der Garde) who are being considered to take on the role of testing for Pirelli. Both parties took part in two days of testing in which both drivers evaluated the GP2 constructions tires. Some may be thinking this is a smart move by Pirelli considering Maldonado's track record for pushing cars to their limit….even if it is more in the sense of pushing them to the limits of their safety features…..that may seem like a harsh statement until you consider there is an entire website devoted to how long it has been since he last crashed!...
