McLaren 'much more optimistic' over potential - Alonso

McLaren Honda Fernando Alonso says McLaren is "much more optimistic" than it was last month as it prepares for a sequence of races which he believes should suit the outfit's package. Alonso ended a nine-month barren spell when he collected sixth place at the Russian Grand Prix and is optimistic that the MP4-31 can show strongly across the next few events. "I think the car is improving and we are getting more and more competitive in the races," he said ahead of his gome event this weekend.
