Pascal Wehrlein: “Today has been a positive day for us'

Pascal Wehrlein completed the opening day of Formula 1 in-season testing at the Circuit de Catalunya for Manor Racing. The German set a fastest lap time of 1m24.297s to finish the session in fifth position behind the Haas F1 Team of Frenchman Romain Grosjean, completing 86 around the Barcelona track. Wehrlein feels the day was overall very positive for the Banbury outfit and hopes in result of the work completed on Tuesday, Manor can have a better performance during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. “Today has been a positive day for us,' said Wehrlein. 'We worked through a pretty big list of items to evaluate the new developments and also did some runs on the Supersoft later in the day....
