VIDEO – Mclaren: Life begins at 50
Sunday May 22nd marks the 50th anniversary of Mclaren’s first Formula One race. Bruce Mclaren took to the wheel of the MB2 around the streets of Monaco. Despite managing only 9 laps before an oil leak bought an early end to his race, the race represents the beginning of one of the most successful teams in Formula One history. 1966 Mclaren MB2 Having participated in 791 race weekends, Mclaren have a amassed 182 wins, sealing 8 constructors world championships and 12 drivers championships.
