Magnussen crash curtails final practice

Sebastian Vettel topped the times for Ferrari in Saturday morning's crash-curtailed rain-hit third and final free practice session ahead of Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix. The four-time champion from Germany was at the top of the time-lists when the session was red-flagged with 12 minutes remaining, leaving his rivals with no chance to clock a flying lap in the final minutes. The early end of the session came when Kevin Magnussen crashed heavily in his Renault, the Danish driver losing control of his car at the exit of Turn Seven where he smashed into the wall on the left side of the circuit, wrecking the left rear section of his car.
