Palmer optimistic of upturn in fortune

– Renault driver Jolyon Palmer is hopeful that he can encounter "better luck" at this weekend's European Grand Prix after a troublesome couple of rounds for the rookie.Palmer suffered a high speed crash in Monaco when he lost control of his RS.16 in wet conditions, while in Canada his race came to an early end once more, due to a water leak.Palmer, who has yet to score a point in Formula 1, is nonetheless encouraged that Renault has made progress in recent races, and hopes to exploit those gains at the Baku City Circuit."We made a step forward with the car [in Canada], but some better luck and finishes would be good now," he said."I'm happy with the progress...
