Pirelli announce Sepang options

Pirelli will race their hardest range of tyres at round 16 of the F1 championship, the Malaysian Grand Prix. The Italian manufacturer will head to Sepang with the hard, medium and soft tyres available for the drivers. Each driver has to have two sets of the hard tyres available for the grand prix and must use at least one of them. On the other end of the scale, the soft tyres must be used by any driver making it into Saturday's Q3. The teams are free to choose the remaining 10 sets; making up 13 sets in total for the weekend. The Malaysian Grand Prix will mark the third time that Pirelli have opted for the hard tyres, the previous two being Spain and Britain.
