Perez not distracted by Ferrari rumours
Sergio Perez insists he is not getting carried away with rumours linking him with Ferrari, but has welcomed the fact that he has managed to rebuild his reputation. The Mexican has had another impressive campaign for Force India so far, with the highlight being his podium finish in the Monaco Grand Prix. Amid uncertainty about whether or not Ferrari will keep Kimi Raikkonen for 2017, Perez has been mentoned as a possible contender for the seat– having been a part of the Italian team’s junior driver programme in the past.
