Pirelli to stay in Formula 1
Pirelli have announced they will remain as Formula 1's sole tyre supplier until at least 2019. The Italian manufacturers announced the news on Friday after a deal had initially been struck over the winter but had yet to be formalised. The new deal sees their contract with the FIA extend from 2017 to 2019, during which a host of new rule changes are due to take place that could radically shake up the sport.
