Ricciardo: Red Bull/Ferrari battle 'close'

– Daniel Ricciardo says the battle between Red Bull and Ferrari at this weekend's German Grand Prix will be "close", given Friday's times.Mercedes dominated first practice, finishing over a second clear of the pack behind, but its rivals closed in during the afternoon session.Sebastian Vettel placed third for Ferrari, six tenths adrift, with Red Bull drivers Verstappen and Ricciardo a couple of tenths further back."On one lap it's close," Ricciardo commented after practice."We could have got a bit more out of our low fuel run; it'll be close on one lap, but the high fuel felt positive, so if we can carry that into Sunday we'll be looking quite nice."He...
